WHAT IS 3degrees?

WHAT Quick Intro

WHAT, is 3DEGREES? To really learn more, check out our 3degrees info page, but 3degrees is the temperature at which point snow lines have risen 450m (source IPCC), and beyond which human existence starts to get very, very interesting (the IPCC conservatively estimates serious consequences for human habitation of Earth at 2-3 degrees average warming, never mind the snow!). By interesting, we mean interesting bad, not interesting good.

Heresy's 3DEGREES initiative raises money for environmental causes such as carbon abatement, carbon reduction education/measures, reforestation and so on. We have big plans and they're already rolling.

But it's more than just that. This is about sustainable snowboarding. About long term viability above short term profitability . But it's bigger still. It's about sustainable living and about caring for who makes our clothing and product and how our fellow humans are faring. In short? It's about caring. About how we live. How we treat others. And most importantly, how we treat Earth, our (only) home. No Earth = no anything. Pretty simple.
