What you can do - How you CAN save the world
You can make a difference. A clear, measurable difference. The way the governments are moving, we could watch the world wilt, right? The real change will come from us. So it's going to help the more of us that try. Read on to see the little things you can do, and people to support, to help effect change.
Although carbon abatement through various programs (e.g. Emissions Trading Schemes - ETS) is a valuable tool, our first step should be to reduce future carbon and methane (CO2 and CH4) input into the atmosphere through reduced consumption of electricity and goods that require significant hydrocarbon inputs.
Below we offer practical and simple (and some a little more onerous) ideas to help make changes and save the snow. Some of these ideas are really simple to implement. Some require a lifestyle change. You've probably heard most of these all before, so what's different? By putting them here we hope to reinforce that all of things either directly or indirectly affect climate change and thus snow cover. This is your call to arms. We need to change how we're doing things - all of us - and we need to do it now.

» Calculate your energy use then purchase carbon offsets (or support our 3degrees range to achieve this)
» Cycle or walk to the shops (don't be lazy!)
» Bottle water is bad for the environment - our plastic bottle energy requirements are bad
» Maximum use of technology for delocated collaboration, minimising need for travel
» Encouraging and educating others on the dangers of climate change to all of us
» Healthy diet thus minimising packaging and plastic use
» Support of companies like Vans (vegan shoes), Oxfam etc
» Simple things like low energy light globes, energy efficient appliances etc
